House & Micro Church Planting
​
The word apostle simply means “one who is sent” or “messenger.” This “functional” understanding of an apostle is seen as valid for modern-day church planters, missionaries who are sent out, or those who help bring organization and oversight to the development of church planting movements. The term apostle was culturally used within the Roman Empire in conjunction with our understanding of what an ambassador does, but with even further meaning. They would go with a fleet of ships to establish a new colony in the name of Rome. In the same manner today, apostles help establish the Kingdom of God in places where it has not yet been established.

We are in the early stages of what is being considered a Third Great Awakening. Along with an emphasis on discipleship, we can see a new wave of church plants that will happen in the context of homes and nontraditional locations that will be easily reproducible. Our mission is to empower everyone to discover and pursue their calling, whether they remain with us or go elsewhere. Acknowledging the necessity for accountability and support we are dedicated to building relationships and offering vital resources for new church communities.​ With 25 years of experience in church planting, we're excited to support those venturing into this new frontier. The Bible has several passages about the importance of ministry partners – believers with different resources and opportunities who strive side by side for the sake of the gospel (Philippians 1:27). Here are just a few examples:

Romans 12:3-8: God has given all members of the church different gifts by His grace.

1 Corinthians 3:5-9: We are God’s fellow workers; the one who plants and the one who waters are one, but God gives the growth.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11: Paul reminds the Corinthian church that there are many kinds of spiritual gifts and service, but it is the “same God” working through us (see also Romans 12).

1 Corinthians 12:12-30: The church is like a body, made of different but equally valuable members who all contribute to its functioning.

2 Corinthians 10:13-17: God has assigned believers particular areas of influence.
